This is me in exploration gear! I used to be carried facing Mummy or Daddy - but whilst on holiday I tried being carried facing forwards - there is so much more to see! I first tried this on holiday when we went to visit Lindisfarne - The Holy Island. You can drive to the Island when the tide is out but when the tide comes in you are cut off from the mainland. A man called Aiden and his friends settled on the Island in the late 500's AD. He moved down from Iona in Scotland to tell people about Jesus.
There is a lovely little harbour on the Island and a great castle. From the harbour you can see the castle at Bamburgh in the distance. There is also a lovely church and the remains of a priory. Daddy took so many pictures his camera battery died!

Mummy and Daddy had a lovely lunch whilst - I just had my usual milk. I also sent my first postcards to my family. Lindisfarne was a very peaceful place and the weather was lovely. I ended up with a little red nose!
