Starting back

I've been sooooooooo busy! A busy life really makes you sleepy! It's been a time for starting back at things as I'm getting well in the swing of starting back at school and I've also started back at swimming.

School this week was great. On Monday morning I cried a little when Mummy left me, but I didn't feel I needed to cry when she picked me up. I have also started to play with the other boys and girls there. On Tuesday morning I didn't cry at all! I think school is going to be good.

On Saturday Daddy and me had some boy play time as Mummy and Lottie were out at a car boot sale. I asked Daddy to take me swimming and it was brilliant! I jumped in from the side lots and lots and when the water rushed up my nose it made big green boogies come out! It also made me cough a lot. Daddy and me had such a good time that yesterday we took Mummy and Lottie swimming. It was Lottie's first time and she was a very good girl. I borrowed a long thing called a float and I did swimming by myself! Daddy let go of me and I kicked my legs and it was great! Lottie and me were so tired after swimming that we slept for three hours yesterday afternoon.

Today I'm going to Happy Days soft play which is a brilliant place. I'm going with my new friends Elise and Sam and their Mummy and Daddy Matt and Sarah and of course my Mummy and Daddy and Lottie too!

Pool with no water?

This week has been such a busy week as Mummy has been working nights and Daddy has been working days.
On Monday I popped in to Parents and Toddlers with Mummy and then spent some time with Gran (N). I was still awake when Daddy came home from work and he needed some dinner so I stayed up until 11.30 and watched the ice hockey and ate Quavers. Then Daddy and I went to bed.
On Tuesday I spent the morning with Gran, I saw Mummy only briefly before Daddy and I went on an adventure. We were going to a youth club in Glenrothes where my girlfriend Amy lives. I didn't see Amy, but I did see her Mummy. Daddy and I stopped for a McDonald's on the way and then I got to play with some big children and some really big children. My friend Callum tried to teach me to play pool, but it was rubbish as there wasn't even any water! I had a nice time though, but I was shattered and fell asleep in the car on the way home and don't even remember how I got into bed.
On Wednesday, Daddy and me went swimming and I was really jumping in from the side of the pool - this time with water. Then I went to Grans again until Daddy picked me back up from work. What a busy week!

My new Nikes

Had a week so far that's been kinda ticking along. On Tuesday morning I went to the swimming pool with my Daddy. It was quite busy as all the big children were off school, but it was still lots of fun. Two little girls let me play with their ball with them which was nice. Tuesday afternoon I spent in the house with Mummy and we both slept a bit and played a bit.
On Wednesday I went out for lunch with Gran(N) and Liam. We went to McDonalds and I had a Happy meal. Then when Daddy picked me up after he'd been at work we went to the Fort and we had a coffee with Ann Marie, one of Daddy's friends. We then went shopping for some new trainers for me as the ones I had were getting too small. I finally found a pair that I liked and that they had in my size. Do you like them?

Happy Birthday Robbie!!!

Today is my cousin Robbie's Birthday. He's so cool. Yesterday, I went to his birthday party with my Mummy. Daddy couldn't come as he was at work. Happy Birthday Robbie!!! Today was a lovely and busy day. This morning I went to Parents and Toddlers with my Mummy and it was good as we sang songs and I played. Then I came home for some lunch - lovely pea and ham soup - and then Daddy and Mummy took me swimming. It was great! I jumped in from the side standing, slid in from sitting down (forwards and backwards!), and I even tried to slide in head first. I also splashed Mummy lots and lots. Then my friend Bobby (who went to summer school with me) got me the slide out. He's a life guard at the pool and he got the slide especially for me. I loved going down it with my hands in the air. When I got home I was so tired that I had to have a little sleep for a long time.

Yesterday I went to Gran and Papa's Salvation Army. It was nice to Auntie Rita and Liam there too. We went there because two lovely people called David and Florence were leading the service. They looked after Daddy when he first moved to Scotland.

Saturday night I was at another party with Mummy and her friend Joyce. Daddy was working again so missed out again. Poor Daddy. The party was great. I played with a little boy and a balloon and a bouncy ball. No wonder I'm tired!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TASHA

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TASHA!!! Today my cousin Natasha is 7 years old. Me and my Mummy and Daddy got her a High School Musical MP3 player for her present and she likes it a lot. I know this because she telephoned me to say 'thank you'. I am so pleased that she liked it as she like listening to music and dancing like me. I hope she has had a lovely day.
For the last two days I had "days with my Daddy" as my Mummy was at work. On Wednesday Daddy and me went to play at Adventure Planet and I loved jumping in the ball pool the very best. Then yesterday Daddy took me swimming. We haven't been swimming for a long time and now have to go to a different swimming pool as the big one near us is closed until November. There was a little slide which was lots of fun. I think Daddy and me will be going again soon.

Monday Fun-day

Monday was a great day. Mummy and Daddy were both off work and we had a really busy day. First of all we went to the city and had coffee and cake. Second of all we popped in to see Gran and Papa so that Daddy could help them put some photos on their computer. Third of all we went to Sandyholm Garden Centre. Daddy wanted to by some plants called heather and some big rocks to put in the garden and Mummy wanted us to have lunch! I had yellow split pea soup and a ham sandwich which was very nice. Then we came home, Mummy and me went to Asda and Daddy started the garden until I came back to help him. Then Mummy, Daddy and me went swimming! Then lastly I had my dinner and went to bed as I was creamed!
Tuesday was an "everybody at work day" so I went to play at Gran's and today we went to Starbucks and the Daddy took me swimming again. I'm not sure what we are doing tomorrow.

Work, Work, Work

I've spent most of the week catching up with jobs that needed doing. That's the only problem with being poorly and having a few days off. On Thursday I did some work around the house. As it was quite a big job I had to bring the dumper truck in.


On Friday I had to do some work on the car. I'm pleased that the weather was nice as it meant I could spend some time outside. I also took Snowy for a walk with Mummy.

On Saturday I had to do some work in the garden. Daddy made a big mistake by putting me in charge of the hose. I watered the flowers and the grass and the path and then I watered Snowy and Daddy. It's a long time since I've seen my Daddy run so fast.

Saturday wasn't all work though. Daddy and I watched Soccer AM and then we went swimming - which was great as I went down the big slides with Daddy. On Sunday Daddy and I had a lie in, well it is the day of rest! Actually me and Daddy both have coughs and runny noses and we weren't feeling too well. I have boy-flu and Daddy has man-flu. We had a restful day in, but it was really warm today, so this evening we went swimming again to cool off.

Me and Daddy Day!

Today I had a day with my Daddy. Mummy was going to work so Daddy and me had a day to do whatever we wanted to. So we started the day by staying in bed! We didn't get up until nearly 10 o'clock. We then had a bit of a rush and quickly got dressed to go swimming. I like going swimming lots and lots. I like going under the big waterfall and I like going down the slides, although sometimes the water splashes right in my face. After swimming Daddy and me went to Starbucks for lunch. I had some toasted fruit bread, some of Daddy's coffee and a Coconut and Raspberry cake. We then did a little bit of shopping and then I went home for a sleep. When we woke up (I say we as I think Daddy had a sleep too) we did some housework so that Mummy would be happy with us and had dinner. Then we had to go shopping for some bread.

Daddy and me went to Tesco's and bought lots of stuff and a present for me - and octopus that you fix to the hose and it sprays water! I could have had a penguin or dinosaur but I liked the octopus even though it is pink. We got home and I got my surf suit on and we got very wet. The water was a bit cold though but a lot of fun. Daddy is naughty when he has a hose and squirts people - and I'm just like him! When it started to get too cold to play outside I went in and had a lovely warm bath. Most of my day with Daddy was wet thinking about it! Then it was time for my Mummy to come home and time for me to go to bed.

I had a really busy week last week. Last Monday, my Gran, my Auntie Tor, and my cousins, Natasha and Rebekah came to visit. It's great to get to know my family and they all seem very smiley! We had a really nice time as we went 10 pin bowling one day, although I slept through much of that. The next day we all went swimming which I really like, but the water at the swimming pool was a little chilly for me. I prefer my nice warm bath.
