Bad Weather = Indoor Fun

Bad Weather means that we have to play indoors and we had very wet bad weather on Wednesday so Daddy took me and Lottie to the Science Center again whilst Mummy was at work. I have my own special card with my very own picture on which means that I don't have to give the man any pennies when I go - I get in for free!
The centre is great as there is so much to play and do. We had lunch there and then spent all afternoon there, playing in the water, driving the crane, I was shattered when I we went home.
Yesterday Daddy, me and Lottie went to meet Auntie Leigh for lunch at the McDonalds near where she works. It was a double good thing, seeing Auntie Leigh and going to McDonalds. Then we went to the shops and me and Lottie got a we present - a film called "Gnomeo and Juliet." When Mummy came home of work we had a film night, with popcorn and sweeties and marshmallows.

Boy's Toys!

This month I've been kinda busy with boys toys and they are great. Firstly, I've got into proper Lego. I found the little Lego I had a little frustrating when I was playing with Mummy the other day whilst Daddy was at work and it made me cry. When Daddy came home from work, to cheer me up we went on an adventure into the loft. Daddy found some old boxes and I was very excited when we looked inside because they were full of Lego! As Daddy's old white box was a little bit broken, we went out and got a big new box. Daddy's Lego is now my Lego - yea! I only cry now when I have to put it away.
Secondly, the other day Mummy and Daddy and Lottie and me when to a big toy shop and I played with a racing car set, Scalextric! I had forgotten that I have one at home but this morning Daddy and me set the track up and raced. I crashed the blue mini a couple of times and it came off the track and hit Daddy in the head once! It was really silly!

I'm glad I'm a boy, because boy's toys are just the bestest!

Parks, Picnics, Pooh-sticks and Play

Today was the first day when we have not been busy for a while and with Mummy and Daddy both off work it was officially a 'play-day' and play we did. Mummy packed us up a great picnic and we headed for Rouken Glen - a huge, fab park. The weather was warm and sticky and we found a nice spot to eat our picnic. Then we went for a walk through the trees and by the stream. There was lots of bridges to cross and Daddy taught me a game called "Pooh-Sticks" and it's not rude or anything. What you do is drop a stick from a bridge and then look for it coming out the other side! It works good with a leaf, but it doesn't work with stones at all. Then We had a walk around the boating lake, fed the ducks and we had an ice-cream and then I played on the park. What a lovely day!

Daddy's Birthday Family Outing!

Happy Birthday Daddy! Daddy's birthday was on Friday and he had a lovely day. We got him some nice presents. A replica 'Escape to Victory' football shirt, some sweeties, some speakers for his iPhone and Daddy also got a jumper and some Lego which I helped him build in the morning. On Saturday we then went on a 'Birthday Outing' and it was a great outing! Lottie and me were moved to the car whilst we were sleeping as Mummy and Daddy set off early to go to the Lake District. I got dressed at a service station and we then went to Haverthwaite where we we going for a ride on a steam train! It wasn't a little pretend steam train, but a real-life-proper-full-size steam train. I got to watch it back up to the carriages and then we all climb aboard. We had tea and cake and juice and a gingerbread man on the train and Mummy's cake was huge! We travelled on the train to Lakeside and we got off the train and we then went for a ride on a big white boat! It was lovely weather so we sat on the roof of the boat. I saw a water-skier, some boats, swans and ducks and a turtle-dinosaur (a crocodile) and a whale.

The boat stopped at Bowness-on-Windermere and we got off and had a picnic. Daddy got me a ball and we played with that for a while. It was very sunny and lovely. Soon it was time to go home so we had to get back on the boat. I had a little snooze on the boat journey on the way back but I woke up in time to got back on the train. On the way back I spent most of the journey looking out of the window of the door. The train smoke smelt funny and it was great to see the engine when we went round a bend. It was the best birthday outing ever!

Happy Birthday to ME - I'm 1000 days old!

Party! Everybody Dance! Do this (See Above)... Then this (See Below)... Then Repeat!

Today is a birthday celebration of my 1000th day! How great is that?! Congratulations and thank-you Mummy and Daddy on doing a good job and keeping me alive this long, I know it wasn't easy at the beginning, but you're doing OK - what hasn't killed me should make me stronger, once I've been through the necessary counseling.
Wow! - Huge, huge, huge big news! It's a big achievement bullet-in! Yesterday I went swimming with Daddy and did swimming all by myself just using a long snake float! I could even do turns in the water! I think it's because I was inspired by the fish I saw on Monday when Daddy took me and Lottie to Sealife Centre at Loch Lomond. It was great. I saw lots of different fish, some looked like zebras and I touched a starfish! My favourite thing was the big turtle. I liked him a lot and even saw him eating his dinner. I also went in a bubble in a tank and I saw two Nemo fishes and two Dori Fishes! A little otter even came right up to the glass where I was to say 'hello', I think he liked me.

Derby win a game! Clan win a trophy!

Wow! Some Saturday's are just the best. You feel like the King of your castle! What a fab day! First of all, we had snow today - it was too wet to do anything with, but we did have about an inch of it! Then, this afternoon Derby County beat Swansea City 2-1 - a shock result for us as Derby haven't won hee-haw for ages and Swansea were second in the league. Daddy was so happy he took Mummy and Lottie and me to Pizza Hut for tea to celebrate. It was great! Then tonight The Braehead Clan have won their first trophy! They won the Aladdin 20/20 Cup beating the Panthers 3 -0 in the last game. 'Mon the Claaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! He didn't take us anywhere for that, but I wouldn't have wanted to go to Pizza Hut twice in one day.
The picture below is an achievement picture too. When Daddy came in from work he was surprised to find that whilst Mummy had been upstairs putting Lottie in her bed, I had got my stool, gone to the fridge and poured myself a drink of juice, a mix of orange and apple - and I didn't spill a drop! Well, I didn't spill any at the time of pouring, however, five minutes after this photo was taken I had a little accident and spilled most of the juice everywhere- oops! I just missed the top of the sideboard and it was too late! Daddy was on the phone to Grandpa at the time, but Mummy and Daddy don't get angry at accidents - they only get cross when I spill my juice on purpose!

Ha -PEE Birthday Mummy!

Ha-Pee burp-day to Poo! Happy Birthday Mummy! I love you very much. I do not love Daddy very much though after catching me on my potty and posting the picture on my blog! I have got you a lovely present Mummy after going shopping with Daddy and Lottie yesterday. We went to Livingston, because the weather was windy and cold and a little bit snowy again, and the Fort is cold and windy on a summers day and Livingston is under-cover. I was a really good boy all around the shops and then we went to ASDA and the man on the till let me scan our shopping through! How cool is that!
Have a lovely birthday Mummy! Love You!

Saturdays are great!

Mummy was working AGAIN this weekend, so on Saturday morning I decided to give Daddy a break after a hard week at work and I took on some of the 'Mummy and Daddy' jobs with Lottie. I read her a story about Zigby the Zebra and his friends Bertie and McMeer. Daddy reads this book to me and I think that she liked it. I then sang some songs with her and played a game where we had to pretend to be asleep and then clap very very fast when we were awake. Lottie and I both liked that game.

Then, as Mummy and Daddy do this a lot, I gave Lottie lots of kisses and cuddles. I'm not sure she enjoyed this as much as the book and the singing and the game, but it's all part of life. I was quite glad when Auntie Rita arrived at 10.00am to take us to Funky Monkeys! It's very tiring being a Mummy and Daddy.

I also went to visit Gran on Saturday and then Daddy took me to the ice hockey. I had a seat right next to the penalty box and had a really good time. Uncle Gordon was up from Londaon and he sat with us for the 2nd period. It was nice to see him. The Clan beat Edinburgh Capitals 7 - 1! I sang and danced for the 3rd period and entertained everyone near me, including the penalty box man who gave me a high-five from the other side of the glass and a hockey puck from the game! I didn't get home until late-O'clock so went straight to bed!

Noah's Cafe!

Welcome to Noah's Cafe! Our specials for today were toast, ice-cream, ice-cream on toast, and pizza. We also served tea in a glass! Tasha and Bebe and Auntie Tor and Uncle Chris gave me these cooking presents for Christmas and my microwave properly works and everything.
Hmmm. I've had a normal and busy week. Things are getting back to being a little more normal again now that Daddy is working days and not nights. Monday and Tuesday I went to school - that was good. I had a walk down by the canal and saw a lawn mower boat that was cutting all the grassy stuff in the water - I have never seen one of those before. On Wednesday morning I spent some time with Daddy, we did the shopping, cleaned out the car and then went to the car-wash which I really like! Daddy also got me some Matey Bubble bath so I had a great bath with Lottie on Wednesday night. Today I went to Helen's Parents and Toddlers and then we met with Mummy's friend Fiona in Glasgow and her two little girlies. Then tonight I had a good play at running a cafe with Daddy, a big pillow fight and then we cuddled and watched the film 'Cars'.
Tomorrow - I don't know what I'm doing... except that Mummy is working tomorrow night, so Daddy is 'the Daddy-bear'. That means Mummy will be sleeping on Saturday and Daddy is off work - so me might go somewhere really exciting - it's a "Daddy play all day" day!

Lazy days and eating days!

Oh boy, I've been hungry and tired and hungry and tired in the last few days. I must be going through a bit of a growth spurt. Today I have eaten, choccy toast, Banana, orange juice, more toast, ham sandwiches, crisps, two custard creams and a cup of tea, three chocolate coins, milk, chicken and carrots, some of Lottie's Hula Hoops and now I'm waiting in the ice-cream van! I've also had an extra sleep this afternoon.
Tuesday I went to school and then in the afternoon Auntie Gillian came to play. We then went to the park for a play, but it was a bit windy when we got there so I decided not to get out of the buggy! Yesterday Daddy took us out for lunch at Nando's and I had chicken and chippys and garlic bread. We had a lovely time. We then came home and watched the film 'Despicable Me" which I think has a good chance of being a family favourite.
The top ten Godfrey family favourite films are (at the moment):
1. How to train your Dragon
2. Madagascar (AKA (in our house) as lion king)
3. Lego - The Adventures of Clutch Powers (AKA Lego bricks)
4. Despicable Me
5. Dinosaur (AKA Big dinosaur one, with little monkeys and the big meteor falls from sky and makes big bang and everyone runs)
6. Surf's Up (AKA Pengus surfing)
7. Bee Movie
8. Cars
9. Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs
10. Happy Feet (AKA Pengus dancing)
Just outside the top ten are Astroboy, Beauty and the Beast and Escape to Victory.

Today I went to Helen's Parents and Toddlers and I made cards by gluing and sticking and played on the chute and the trampoline. Then I slept. Then I ate some more. I wonder what I'll eat tomorrow.

An Igloo isn't a chilly toilet?

The UK continues to have lots of snow - in case you didn't know. I took this photo with Mummy's camera when Daddy threw me up into the air really, really, really high and you can see most of the UK is white. It's caused chaos. Mummy and Daddy and Lottie and me have spent most of the week in the house. We had Layne and Abbie come to visit and to play on Monday and Tuesday. They are from next door but I think it took them six hours to make the journey, I think. Yesterday we did venture to Tesco's but that was as far as we went. We met up with Katherine Snotrag there and had lunch in the cafe.

Being at home has meant that Daddy and me have got a bit bored - there is only so many times you can watch "How to train your Dragon", but Daddy always finds something exciting to do - I don't think he ever gets bored. Daddy decided that we would build an igloo. Daddy and me built the walls one day and then finished off the roof the next. It's not huge, but it fits me and my Daddy in it and my pet rabbit that I found in the snow (actually it is just a chunk of snow, but I'm two years old and driven by a creative imagination!)
Today we met Grandpa and Gran in town! We walked around the market and then I took them to see the dinosaur at Kelvingrove. They went there by bus but Mummy, Daddy, me and Lottie went on an undergound train!

Ice Ice Baby!

On Friday Mummy, Daddy and me spent some time digging all the snow and ice off our drive so that Daddy could get his car parked. As a treat Daddy decided to keep in the 'ice' theme and he took me and Mummy and Lottie to the Ice Hockey to watch the Braehead Clan. Apart for the result which saw the Clan lose 4-0 to Cardiff Devils - I have to say I love the hockey. We had seats right at the very front so I had a great view right next to the ice. I shouted and cheered and danced when the music played. I loved watching the Zamboni re-ice the rink and I was even given a puck by the referee.
Saturday I wasn't too well again - I really can't shift this snotty cold thing. I was supposed to be going to see Granny and Grandpa and Auntie Tor and Uncle Chris and Tasha and Bebe and Santa, but we could go because the weather was so bad. That made me sad.
Yesterday I went to church at Denistoun with Mummy and Lottie. It was nice.

Today I woke up to even more snow! When will it stop? Daddy thinks that it is like Narnia and we have come under the rule of the wicked Ice Queen and it will be winter always. I thinks he forgets that I am on two and a half and I haven't a clue what he is talking about.

SNO funny anymore!

We've had a load of snow! I was so excited when Mummy woke me up on the first morning we had it and and I shouted "Santa's Coming!" I liked the snow at first. Mummy took me sledging, Daddy helped me build a huge big snowman and I got pulled to school on my sledge on Monday and Tuesday although Mummy forgot the sledge on Monday to pull me back and I had to walk - under much protest!

I'm not so keen on the snow now as we've got too much of it! We haven't been out of the house for days, except poor Daddy who struggles to get to work and back. I've been in the house, playing and watching DVDs. The only good thing is that we put up our Santa Tree yesterday and it looks very pretty. Daddy and I went for a very little walk yesterday, but it was very hard work and my poor snowman has turned into a snow cone!

Gingerbread House Building!

Yippee! Christmas is coming - and I saw Santa doing some shopping the other day! There are only 36 sleeps left until Christmas, or that's about 844 hours. I've been doing lots of shopping with Mummy and Daddy and Lottie, but I don't really like it as it makes me hungry. The best thing was that Daddy and Mummy to us to McDonald's for lunch because I had been a good boy. Daddy and I have also been busy making a gingerbread house cake. Daddy built the house as you have to use melted sugar as cement and it is very very very very very very very hot. My job was to decorate it using lots of sugar icing, smarties, jelly sweets and marshy-mellows - little ones and big ones. I made sure that I ate lots of sweeties too - for quality control purposes. This was our practice house and we have already eaten lots of it now, but we are going to get another one in time for Christmas (which is only 36 sleeps away which is about 50,659 minutes as I'm typing this.) Mummy finished the house off by putting a gingerbread man in the house looking out of the window. Daddy then made up a song "There once was a gingerbread man, who lived in a gingerbread house. He had a gingerbread cat that chased a gingerbread mouse!" Daddy is quite good at making up songs I think.

In Search of...

I've had a week looking for things. At the end of last week Daddy and me had a play day and we were going to go swimming, but then I decided that I wanted to find a dinosaur. Daddy is great and said "no problem" and we set off on an adventure in search of a dinosaur. Daddy took me to Kelvingrove Museum and Art Galleries and I found a dinosaur, but I was a little scared at first. I saw lots of other animals too and Poppy Doggy had a lovely time.

I also went for an adventure at my favourite park but I took Mummy and Lottie with me as well as Daddy. It was a bit chilly, but at least the sun was shinning. I'm in search of the perfect stone for skimming, but at the moment mine are only plopping when they hit the water. I'll keep practising.

At 6.00am today I went in search of "huey" who lives in the toilet. That's what Daddy calls it when I'm being sick because I make the noise "Hu - ey". It's been a day for staying in, watching films and I think I have now stopped being sick. Today was a Daddy-Play-All-Day but instead of playing we have mostly cuddled. Mummy had to take some washing to Gran and Papa's as I had made too much. So far I have watched 'Surf's Up' twice and 'Finding Nemo'. I think 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' will be next.

Fun Things to do Indoors

With the nights getting colder and darker way before bedtime and it no longer being weather to go out to the Sandy-Park I thought I'd give you some suggestions on things you can do that are still fun even though you may be stuck at home. My first suggestion is DANCING! clear away your toys, get as many people as you can to dance and get some good tunes on the ipod dock - and don't forget to have the potty close by - all that jigging can make you want to pee-pee! My favourite tunes at the moment are "Honey, Honey" from the film Mamma Mia, "I guess you could say" by Middle Class Rut and "The World is all there" by Fools Gold, oh and I still like Mika's "Lollipop". Uncle 'Ickle Kevin, Daddy and me were really pulling off the moves the other night!

Or if Dancing is not your thing, get your daddy to get out DADDY'S TOYS. I have come to discover that Daddy's Toys are always better than boy's toys. My Daddy has some cool things that I'm only allowed to play with when he's around. He has some big boy's Lego (which, strangely, is smaller than little boy's Lego) and we have had some fun building boats and cars and ambulances and planes. You have to concentrate hard when you are playing with it as it's a bit fiddly, but it burns away the hours after dinner and before bedtime.

My last suggestion is to get Mummy and Daddy to take you SOMEWHERE ELSE that is indoors. I like swimming, but my favourite place is Happy Days! Mummy and Daddy and Lottie and me went on Monday afternoon.

I like going down the big chutes and so does my Poppy-Doggy - this is Poppy-Doggy coming down the chute by herself. Anyone can go down the chutes and bounce on the trampolines. A few weeks ago I took Granny and Grandpa and even they liked going down the chutes. Granny was the fastest in her smooth and speedy trousers. We had a great time on Monday - we even had some tea at Happy Days. As we were going to the car though Mummy was very naughty. Mummy didn't stop at the curb and just walked out onto the road. I told her off all the way to Gran and Papa's house as she was a baddie and it was a busy road.

Jesus Loves You, But I'm His Favourite!

I've had a weekend away with the church and it was really good, and Mummy and Daddy and me and Lottie stayed in a hotel and I saw a froggy and got to go swimming. The weekend was so good that I got my Bible out when we got home. There are some good stories in the Bible - I like the one about Jonah who got swallowed by a big fish and I like the story of me who built a big boat and saved all the animals.
Today I've been a really big boy and I have been wearing big boy pants all day instead of a nappy. I did this yesterday but ran out of pants in the end as it's a little bit tricky not to be tinkly, but today I have been dry all day - Yeah! Mummy and Daddy and Lottie and me even went shopping for some more big boy pants and I got some with monkeys on and some like Uncle 'Ickle Kevin wears (so Daddy says) with Policemen on them and I did a pee-pee in the toilet! Mummy and Daddy are very proud.

Ups and Downs!

This weekend Granny and Grandpa came to stay and play. On Friday afternoon I woke up from an afternoon sleep to find them in my house! I was very excited to see them. Grandpa and me and Daddy went to the park on Friday night but it was very dark. Granny went with Mummy and Lottie to a Body-Shop party - boring!
On Saturday we all went out to Almond Valley Heritage Centre. It is a farm that you can walk around and see all the animals and there is lots to do and lots to play on. Granny and Grandpa taught me a game called 'Pooh Sticks'. At first I thought they were being rude but it's named after Winne the Pooh. You drop a stick over one side of a bridge into a stream and then wait for it to come out from under the bridge on the other side, if you don't have a stick you can use a leaf.

Grandpa and Granny and Daddy and me went down a big rabbit hole where you can see the bunnies in their homes and then I had a bounce on the trampolines. I also saw lots of animals like cows and pigs and sheep and rabbits and ducks and I played in a big sandpit. I was having a lovely time until I looked into a shed and a scarecrow in the shed scared me - he should have been called a scareNoah!

After dinner we had a birthday cake for Grandpa as it is his birthday at the end of the month. I made him a card and gave him his birthday present which he liked a lot. On Sunday I took Granny and Grandpa to Happy Days and then we went out for lunch, but I couldn't eat very much as I really needed to poo, but it wouldn't come out until later.

Disney on Ice

Yesterday I had a day out with Mummy and Lottie and Mummy's friend, Emma and Scarlet and Baby Faith and we went to see Disney on Ice. Poor Daddy had to stay at home as he didn't have a ticket, but it was OK as he wasn't very well and has a little cough and cold. Disney on Ice was fantastic! I saw Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck and lots of the other Disney people.

I liked the people from the Lion King the best and also the people from Toy Story which I saw at the cinema. I also like the big dragon from Mulan. I had a Buzz Lightyear outfit to wear and it had a mask and everything. This is a picture of me below in my outfit - only joking! Daddy says he'll take us to the real Disneyland when Lottie is a bit older.

Starting back

I've been sooooooooo busy! A busy life really makes you sleepy! It's been a time for starting back at things as I'm getting well in the swing of starting back at school and I've also started back at swimming.
School this week was great. On Monday morning I cried a little when Mummy left me, but I didn't feel I needed to cry when she picked me up. I have also started to play with the other boys and girls there. On Tuesday morning I didn't cry at all! I think school is going to be good.
On Saturday Daddy and me had some boy play time as Mummy and Lottie were out at a car boot sale. I asked Daddy to take me swimming and it was brilliant! I jumped in from the side lots and lots and when the water rushed up my nose it made big green boogies come out! It also made me cough a lot. Daddy and me had such a good time that yesterday we took Mummy and Lottie swimming. It was Lottie's first time and she was a very good girl. I borrowed a long thing called a float and I did swimming by myself! Daddy let go of me and I kicked my legs and it was great! Lottie and me were so tired after swimming that we slept for three hours yesterday afternoon.
Today I'm going to Happy Days soft play which is a brilliant place. I'm going with my new friends Elise and Sam and their Mummy and Daddy Matt and Sarah and of course my Mummy and Daddy and Lottie too!
