Football Results

My football teams are too depressing. I've had enough of this season so I've decided not to post anymore results until next season. Roll on 2009/10 - the year Derby County and Albion Rovers will taste success!

Football Results

Today, for the first time, three generations of Godfrey's went to a football match. Me, my Daddy and my Grandpa went to watch Albion Rovers.
It was a good game, we missed a few chances and it cost us in the end as we lost 1-0 to Montrose.
Guess what though! There was a picture of me with my Daddy in the match programme - I wasn't expecting that!

Football Results

I can't believe it! (Read this out loud - the first bit sounds funny - it's the second bit that's not!)
Forfar 4 - Albion Rovers 0. Many people feel that our chance of making the playoffs has passed after that result. I was chatting with the manager the other day when I was getting a bovril before the game and he says he might need to call on me for a game! (I don't know if he realised I can't walk yet - but I am great at dribbling!)
On a plus side - the nice lady who runs the club shop knitted me an Albion hat!

My first real-life football match!

Last night Daddy and Uncle Gordon took me to my first real-life proper football match! I've got the T-shirt and everything! We went to see our local team Albion Rovers beat Elgin 2-1! It was great, although I did get a little upset when everyone shouted when we scored. A lovely lady there said that she would knit me a yellow and red hat and she gave me some angel cake. Daddy and Uncle Gordon went last Saturday to check it out before they took me. You can see them in the crowd in the photo below! I've decided that I'll start my career at Albion Rovers, move to Derby County and then Daddy says play for England and Mummy says play for Scotland! Come on the Rams! Come on the wee Rovers!
