Dip and Doodle

I've had a pretty normal week this week or should I say last week. I took Mummy and Daddy shopping to buy new mobile phones as I broke Daddy's when I threw it down the toilet. The weekend was a bit more exciting though. My big cousin Liam slept over on Friday night and then on Saturday Mummy and Liam and me and Auntie Rita and Uncle Ian went to the seaside. We went to a place called Largs and had an in-car picnic. Then we went to a place called "Dip and Doodle" and I had a great time as we were able to paint something. I painted a Rudolph Reindeer ready for Christmas. I was quite proud of myself. Then we all met Daddy and had dinner out at Nandos!

Oo, Oo, Oo.

Yesterday I had my first visit to casualty! I had a little fall off the decking and landed on the path. Normally I'm "as 'ard as nails" and a quick cuddle after bumping myself and I'm back to normal, but the quick cuddle didn't work this time. We went to have dinner with Uncle 'Ickle Kevin and Leigh at Nandos which was lovely, but every time I was lifted in and out of the car or into the high chair it made me cry. When we got home, Mummy and Daddy checked me over and I looked OK, but I cried again bending down to pick something up so they decided to take me to see a doctor at the hospital just to be on the safe side. The doctor was very nice and said that he didn't think I had hurt myself too badly.
I've spent most of the day sleeping and although I am still a little sore, I feel a bit better this evening.

Update

Do you like my Adidas trainers? Ann Marie and Gail got them me for my birthday. They were a lovely white when I had them, but now they are not so white. Yesterday I went shopping with my big cousin Liam to buy him some clothes for when he goes to big big school next week. We had lunch at Nandos which is lovely. Then in the afternoon I had to go to the doctors to get a jag (or jab if you are English rather than Scottish). I only had one thank goodness! I have to tell you I did cry a little, but it doesn't seem to have done me any harm. I soon got over it and haven't been poorly or anything this time.
Today Uncle 'Ickle Kevin came to visit - he is sooooooo funny. He came and stayed for tea and was here until I went to bed. I like it when he visits.

Nutty Professor!

I like a lot of different foods but I especially like jam and honey at the moment. Sticky foods are great, but they don't half play havoc with your hair! Daddy said I looked like a nutty professor. I haven't done very much in the last few days as both Mummy and Daddy were at work. On Friday we had a lovely day out as Amy and her family came to visit and we went to an old school in the city that is now a museum. It was great as it had classrooms set out as they would have been at different times. The school was quite old as it was built over 100 years ago and only stopped being a school when my Daddy was 5 years old. Then we went to eat at Nando's - and I had a bean burger!

Rug Rat!

Mummy and Daddy think that I might crawl and walk a little easier if I didn't have to do it on the slippy wooden floor and thought that a rug might help. So today we went rug shopping. I saw a great one which looked like a football pitch but the bright green of the grass wouldn't look right in our lounge. In the end we bought the one you can see in the picture - I really am a rug-rat now! We then went to Nandos for lunch. I had chicken strips, sweet potato mash, spicy rice and some garlic bread. I also went to Boots and spent a gift voucher that I was given on Sunday. I got a play mat that "In the night garden" which has five different games on it. I also got a new bath toy, but I'm saving that until tomorrow night.

Busy Wednesday

I've had a busy day - sometimes Wednesdays are like a catch up day between a busy beginning and a busy end to the week. I've had to 'catch up' with the blogging thing and I've had to catch up with some friends.

I had lunch today with Mummy and Daddy and my friend Little Lisa. We went to Nandos and Ross the Manager was on duty. He had a baby boy not long before I arrived. It was nice to see Little Lisa and Ross.

Yesterday I went out for dinner with one of my heroes Paul and his wife Jen. Paul is a great guitarist and a real man of God which is why he is one of my heroes. We went to a great restuarant called Nandos - which would have been my middle name if my Daddy had got his own way. I am glad that Mummy went to the registry office with him to register my birth. When I was just three weeks old I accidentally tried the Nandos extra hot sauce - it made my eyes water but I didn't cry. It was really nice to spend time with Paul and Jen.
