Boy's Toys!

This month I've been kinda busy with boys toys and they are great. Firstly, I've got into proper Lego. I found the little Lego I had a little frustrating when I was playing with Mummy the other day whilst Daddy was at work and it made me cry. When Daddy came home from work, to cheer me up we went on an adventure into the loft. Daddy found some old boxes and I was very excited when we looked inside because they were full of Lego! As Daddy's old white box was a little bit broken, we went out and got a big new box. Daddy's Lego is now my Lego - yea! I only cry now when I have to put it away.
Secondly, the other day Mummy and Daddy and Lottie and me when to a big toy shop and I played with a racing car set, Scalextric! I had forgotten that I have one at home but this morning Daddy and me set the track up and raced. I crashed the blue mini a couple of times and it came off the track and hit Daddy in the head once! It was really silly!

I'm glad I'm a boy, because boy's toys are just the bestest!

Lego Bricks Rock!

Series 4 of Lego's collectable minifigures has been released and I think it is the best series yet. Series 1 was good, but series 4 is very good. There is a Ice Hockey Player and a Punk Rocker who I think are my favourites. There is also a footballer who is pretty good, Frankenstein's Monster and a guy in a Hazmat suit, a Viking, a Musketeer, an Artist and a Garden Gnome who I like too. Today was a "Daddy play all day" day as Daddy wasn't at work. Mummy was though, so Daddy had to do all the looking after of us. This afternoon, Daddy and me built some of Daddy's Christmas Lego. We built a long car called a limo and helicopter and I played with them all afternoon and after tea and after my bath. There was a pilot, a limo driver and a lady and a man. The roof comes off the helicopter and the limo so that you can get the people in. There is even a TV in the limo! I know this is "Daddy's lego" now, but I'm sure it won't be long before I inherit it - someday it'll all be mine, all mine! Moo-ha, moo-ha-ha, moo-ha-ha-ha! (That's my evil laugh, by the way.)

Making my bedroom NEW - Finished!

This is my bedroom all nearly finished! This picture above shows my brand new wardrobe and my brand new unit. You can also see my bean bag, some of my books and a few of my cuddly toys and my newspaper headline when I won the cup! Everything is neat and tidy - for now!
This picture is of my Lego man light. He sits next to my bed in case I need to see during the night. He has a button on the front and a handle so that I can carry him around. His whole belly lights up! The last picture is me on my bed with one of my scruffy-fluffy dog. How good does my football pitch look?
I nearly forgot. This week hasn't just been decorating - although that has taken up the last two days. I've had a bit of a Mr Bump week. I split my top lip one day. I split my bottom lip another. I tripped climbing the stairs and gave myself a bloody nose. It's not been too bad though and I'm still playing my harmonica with Daddy!

Lego man!

I'm a Lego man! How cool is this picture of me. It's strange as I look all bricky when you look close up, but it looks me like me when you step back a bit. Lego is great. Daddy is already collecting it for me so I will have lots to play with when I'm a bit bigger. For now I use my Duplo, which is big Lego for little people.
Haven't done much in the last few days. Had a morning in with my Daddy on Wednesday and watched Santa Buddies and then The Pirates who don't do anything and played for a bit, then I went to Gran's (N). Yesterday I spent the morning with my Mummy and watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang twice and Santa Buddies again and then slept. When I woke up Daddy was putting me in the car after we had been to see the midwife with Mummy.
Today Mummy and Daddy are both not at work but I'm not sure yet what we are doing, but may be we will look for things for my bedroom. Some wallpaper arrived for me yesterday and when it's up it will be a big picture of a football stadium - how good is that?

Duplo - Baby Lego!

Mummy and Daddy bought me my first ever Duplo. I've got a lorry with a crate on the back, a big lorry with a crane and a crate on the back and I've got a fire engine. It's great and it was such a surprise as it's not my birthday or Christmas or anything. My Daddy has always loved Lego. I think I love it too. Everyone should give a Lego (or Duplo) man some love!

Thursday and Friday

Ok, so here's my news. Despite a full scale search in what seemed like every shop at the Fort my Teddy is still missing. I met Gran (N) for a drink and chatted with Niki-the-Starbucks-lady. That was all I did yesterday. Today I went on our daily trip to get our free Lego and then came home and spent some time with Mummy and Daddy. Daddy decided to give me another bath because my one on Wednesday wasn't fun. I have to admit that I whimpered a little when we entered the bathroom so Daddy put me in the empty bath whilst I was still dressed! He then slowly filled the bath with water and before I knew it the water was up to my baby-boobs. I liked my bath tonight, I played with ducky, moosey and penguin but baths are not going back on my favourite list just yet!

Lost Teddy

I've lost my Teddy. It's the one pictured here (on the left). He's about 20cm tall, light brown with a dark blue jumper with the Scottish Flag and the word 'Iona' as that's where Auntie Rita bought it from. If any one sees it can you let me know. Mummy thinks that we lost it whilst at the Glasgow Fort today. So we are going tomorrow to see if anyone has handed him in. We've been going to the Fort daily as the Daily Record are giving away Lego for free, but we need to pick it up from The Early Learning Centre. I went to Breast Feeding Group this afternoon and then spent the evening giggling and eating and giggling some more with my Daddy as Mummy was at Uni. I had a lovely evening, but am sad about my Teddy.

Late Lunch

The weather has been pants today so we weren't able to go on our mystery tour. However, I did have a lovely surprise. I went out with Mummy and Daddy for a late lunch with Auntie Catriona and Uncle David. We went to a lovely restaurant in Uddingston. Everyone's food looked lovely and nobody left anything, which meant they liked it a lot or they were just being polite. I had my usual milk and my broccoli and cauliflower cheese goo - smashing!

It was so nice to spend time with my family, especially as this was planned at the last minute. Before we saw Auntie Catriona and Uncle David, Mummy and Daddy took me to the Fort to the Early Learning Centre to get some FREE Lego. There are vouchers in the Daily Record that you can use. I know I'm a little little for Lego at the moment but if I start collecting it now I'll have loads when I'm older - also, it keeps Daddy amused for a while!
