SNO funny anymore!

We've had a load of snow! I was so excited when Mummy woke me up on the first morning we had it and and I shouted "Santa's Coming!" I liked the snow at first. Mummy took me sledging, Daddy helped me build a huge big snowman and I got pulled to school on my sledge on Monday and Tuesday although Mummy forgot the sledge on Monday to pull me back and I had to walk - under much protest!

I'm not so keen on the snow now as we've got too much of it! We haven't been out of the house for days, except poor Daddy who struggles to get to work and back. I've been in the house, playing and watching DVDs. The only good thing is that we put up our Santa Tree yesterday and it looks very pretty. Daddy and I went for a very little walk yesterday, but it was very hard work and my poor snowman has turned into a snow cone!

Christmas is Great!

I've been so busy what with Christmas and all. To be honest, at times I haven't had a clue what has been going on, but it has all been so much fun that I have just carried on and enjoyed the ride! This is what I've learnt... Firstly, there was this baby called Jesus and he was God's present to everyone and was born in a barn a long time ago. Then because of this Santa Claus started giving children presents to remind them that Christmas is about loving and giving. Santa still brings us lovely presents today and I went to visit him and he knew everything about me - he even knew I liked Thomas the Tank Engine.

Christmas is also about white cold rain called snow, although it doesn't always happen. Me and Daddy went to the park and the whole place was covered in this white stuff. We had to wrap up warm as it was very chilly and sometimes the snow is crunchy and sometimes it is slippy. I like slippy the best as Daddy then gives me a push! The big lake was like an ice cube and all the ducks and the noisy geese that go "honka honka honka" had to walk on it.

Holiday week highlights - Part One

We've been on holiday last week so I haven't had time to blog - sorry. Mummy, Daddy and me didn't go away anywhere on holiday but we were very busy at home. One of my highlights this week happened on Saturday. Mummy and Daddy took me to see Santa! I had my face painted while I waited and so I had a lovely snowman on my cheek. The after a drink of juice and a cake it was my turn to see Santa. I was a little bit nervous as he's a big star. I've seen him on the telly and models and stuff of him everywhere. I held Mummy and Daddy's hand whilst he talked to me. He knows everything! He knew how old I was and that I liked Thomas the Tank Engine. He then asked me what I wanted for Christmas and Daddy told him an Xbox and he told me to be good and gave me a present - and aeroplane and some crisps and a lollipop.
