Football Results!

Yeah! Another great win for my super Derby County! Yesterday, Derby won 3-1 against Preston North End (Which is the same score line as Nottingham Forest lost by). We are on a good little run picking up 10 points out of 12! We are now only 4 points off a play-off place and at the same time only 4 points off relegation - what a great league we play in - better than the Premiership any day!
We also have a new team in our house. We now support the Braehead Clan - our local Ice-hockey team. They have been newly formed this season and Daddy and Liam went to see them last Wednesday night. Sadly they lost to 5-2 to the Nottingham Panthers, but Liam was still excited as he came home with 3 ice-hockey pucks that had been fired off the ice! Auntie Love-Leigh is a hockey fan too so I'm going to watch them when I'm older! Come on the Rams! 'Mon the Clan!

What a week!

I've had a really busy week since I've been home from my holidays as Daddy has still been off work and so we have had lots and lots of play days. On Thursday Mummy and Daddy and Lottie and me had a few bits and bobs to do in the big town and we thought it would be fun to travel on the big train again. I really like going on the train as there is so much to see.
On Friday I went to a place in Rutherglen to do some pot painting. Mummy, Lottie, Daddy and me met Gran, Papa and Liam there. I painted a train, Mummy and Daddy painted things for Uncle 'Ickle Kevin and Auntie Love-Leigh, Liam painted a monster and Gran painted a fairy.
On Saturday we had to do a big shop, but we stopped before we got to the frozen stuff as a lady said we could go to the new library and see some animals. I touched a bunny and a guinea pig and I stroked a hen and had a duck on my knee. I touched a snake that Daddy then wore as a scarf around his neck. I held a cockroach and mouse which was cheeky and tried to go up my sleeve and a Gecko lizard.
I stroked a torty and two bearded dragons and I saw a scorpion and a tarantula which is a big, big, big incy-wincy spider but I wasn't allowed to touch them as they are venomous! I even stroked a big lizard thing called Iggy who is an Iguana. Later in the afternoon Katherine came round and we went out and then she came for dinner at our house.
Today I went to my friend Kathryn's birthday party and she will be five - I even got a kiss from the birthday girl! There was a clown at the party and he was very funny and did games and tricks and made me a balloon sword. It was a good party as I also saw my friend Hannah and my girlfriend Amy and her brother Lewis was there. Daddy goes back to work tomorrow and I have to go back to nursery play group school. I'll be glad of the rest I think!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIAM!!!

Today is my big cousin Liam's birthday. This is a picture of him looking after me when I was a baby and he still looks after me good today. I went to church this morning with Mummy and Daddy and went to creche by myself again. After that I had a little sleep before going to Gran and Papa's who were having a party for Liam. I've had a but of an eating day today so it was good to go o a party. Happy Birthday Liam!

My new Barnet!

I had one of those 'get lots done' days yesterday. I took Mummy to Parents and Toddlers in the morning and we had a lovely time. Then Mummy took me to get my hair cut as it was getting a little long and girlie. I went to a proper barbers and I have a big boy's haircut now! It's even shaved at the back like Daddy's hair when Daddy's hair is long. I like it a lot and I think it makes me look grown-up and super-cool.
I then met my cousin Liam for lunch and we had a bacon sandwich at Gran's house. After that Mummy and me went to get some new lights for the back of her car, then we went home.
Last night Uncle 'Ickle Kevin and Auntie Love-Leigh came to play. Uncle 'Ickle Kevin gave me a dinosaur set that he had when he was a 'ickle boy. It has a volcano and everything! He gave it me to go with my dinosaur car set that I had for Christmas. I love my new set and I have played with it all day today!

My new Nikes

Had a week so far that's been kinda ticking along. On Tuesday morning I went to the swimming pool with my Daddy. It was quite busy as all the big children were off school, but it was still lots of fun. Two little girls let me play with their ball with them which was nice. Tuesday afternoon I spent in the house with Mummy and we both slept a bit and played a bit.
On Wednesday I went out for lunch with Gran(N) and Liam. We went to McDonalds and I had a Happy meal. Then when Daddy picked me up after he'd been at work we went to the Fort and we had a coffee with Ann Marie, one of Daddy's friends. We then went shopping for some new trainers for me as the ones I had were getting too small. I finally found a pair that I liked and that they had in my size. Do you like them?

Painting again!

After painting my bedroom last week I was inspired to paint some more with my Mummy; this is one of my first pieces of artwork - do you like it? I was really tired after all my hard work doing up my room but I still managed to do a few things last week. On Friday my Mummy and Daddy were both working, but I did get chance to go for a relaxing swim with Daddy on Friday evening. I do like my swimming and it was great fun. I was even more shattered after that though so Daddy and me just had a Saturday morning chilling and watching Soccer AM before he had to go to work. On Sunday I went to a birthday party at "Runamok" which is another indoor play centre. I had hamburgers and hot-dogs to eat. I then came home and had a bubble bath.
Today has been good. Mummy and Daddy were both off work, so after a morning in the house we went out for lunch at Allan and Linda Dunlop's house. Auntie Gillian was there and she gave me my Christmas presents! I got a DVD and a teddy and in the box with the teddy I got a necklace! The necklace wasn't for me though, but was one that Auntie Gillian had lost before Christmas! This afternoon Uncle David came to play with my boy cousins Liam, Dylan and Robbie. It was great fun spending some time with them. When they left I watched my new favourite film - "Mary Poppins" and danced a little like Dick Van Dyke. I like the bit with the penguins best and also the bit with the chimney sweeps.

Happy Birthday Robbie!!!

Today is my cousin Robbie's Birthday. He's so cool. Yesterday, I went to his birthday party with my Mummy. Daddy couldn't come as he was at work. Happy Birthday Robbie!!! Today was a lovely and busy day. This morning I went to Parents and Toddlers with my Mummy and it was good as we sang songs and I played. Then I came home for some lunch - lovely pea and ham soup - and then Daddy and Mummy took me swimming. It was great! I jumped in from the side standing, slid in from sitting down (forwards and backwards!), and I even tried to slide in head first. I also splashed Mummy lots and lots. Then my friend Bobby (who went to summer school with me) got me the slide out. He's a life guard at the pool and he got the slide especially for me. I loved going down it with my hands in the air. When I got home I was so tired that I had to have a little sleep for a long time.
Yesterday I went to Gran and Papa's Salvation Army. It was nice to Auntie Rita and Liam there too. We went there because two lovely people called David and Florence were leading the service. They looked after Daddy when he first moved to Scotland.
Saturday night I was at another party with Mummy and her friend Joyce. Daddy was working again so missed out again. Poor Daddy. The party was great. I played with a little boy and a balloon and a bouncy ball. No wonder I'm tired!

Slides and trips!

On Saturday morning Mummy went to work but I had a great time as my cousin Liam had stayed at our house to sleep. Liam and Daddy had been to the cinema to see a film called Avatar which Daddy says is "very very good" and it must be because he has seen it three times now! He also said that he wished he could have taken me, but I'm a little too little. Anyway, it was great having someone to play with when I woke up and I do like my big cousin Liam. Daddy dropped him and me off at Gran's before going to work. On Sunday morning, with Mummy at work again Daddy and I needed to something fun so he took me to Adventure Planet. I have to admit I was a little nervous at first and wasn't sure I wanted to play. Daddy says I had a funny smile that was a little false and looked like I had a coat-hanger in my mouth. Daddy came with me on the play stuff and after a while I was OK and I couldn't wait to get on the slides and play in the ball pool! It was so much fun.
Today I went to Parents and Toddlers with Mummy and then when daddy came home form work we went to the shops to get some wrapping paper for a birthday present. As I was running back from the car I fell over. I have a bumped head, a squashed nose, a grazed top lip and sore hands. I need to learn not to land on my face when I fall. I cried for a few minutes but got cuddles off Mummy and Daddy and so soon felt better.

Dip and Doodle

I've had a pretty normal week this week or should I say last week. I took Mummy and Daddy shopping to buy new mobile phones as I broke Daddy's when I threw it down the toilet. The weekend was a bit more exciting though. My big cousin Liam slept over on Friday night and then on Saturday Mummy and Liam and me and Auntie Rita and Uncle Ian went to the seaside. We went to a place called Largs and had an in-car picnic. Then we went to a place called "Dip and Doodle" and I had a great time as we were able to paint something. I painted a Rudolph Reindeer ready for Christmas. I was quite proud of myself. Then we all met Daddy and had dinner out at Nandos!

Congratulations Auntie Cat and Uncle David!

On Friday I was so excited when I woke up! I had to get bathed and ready as Mummy and Daddy and me were going to a wedding. Auntie Cat and Uncle David were getting married. I'd never been to a full wedding before, only a party afterwards so I was very excited and it was going to be even better because it was people who are special to me. Mummy, Daddy and me put on our bestest new clothes and we went to the hotel where the wedding was. There was lots of people there. I was very good through the service, but I did have my marshmallows and a packet of Quavers with me. Uncle David looked very smart and Robbie and Dylan and Liam were in best clothes too. Auntie Cat looked like a princess or something - she had a big white dress on that was very long - it was very nice.

After the wedding service, we all had to go to an old castle to have a some photographs taken. Lots of photos were taken and Daddy took lots of photos too. Then we went back to the hotel. There was a table with sweeties that I could have and I tried popping candy for the first time. It felt funny in my mouth. There was also a room with lots of balloons on the tables and in there we were given something to eat. I had chicken nuggets and chips, Daddy had beef and veg and Mummy chicken. It was all lovely.
After dinner a band arrived and there was a party with dancing and everything. I danced so much that I made myself sick, but Daddy caught most of it in his hand and so I just carried on dancing. I had a great time but it got very very late and I had to go home to bed. It was such a lovely day.

Update

Do you like my Adidas trainers? Ann Marie and Gail got them me for my birthday. They were a lovely white when I had them, but now they are not so white. Yesterday I went shopping with my big cousin Liam to buy him some clothes for when he goes to big big school next week. We had lunch at Nandos which is lovely. Then in the afternoon I had to go to the doctors to get a jag (or jab if you are English rather than Scottish). I only had one thank goodness! I have to tell you I did cry a little, but it doesn't seem to have done me any harm. I soon got over it and haven't been poorly or anything this time.
Today Uncle 'Ickle Kevin came to visit - he is sooooooo funny. He came and stayed for tea and was here until I went to bed. I like it when he visits.

Weekend Catch-up!

Wow! What a busy few days. On Friday night Mummy and me went to see some of Mummy's friends. We went to see Sharon, Joyce, Lorna. Josie, Sharon (another one). Uncle Gordon came to our house to see Daddy and I saw him before I left and when I got back. He bought me the biggest balloon I've ever seen in my entire life! It has pictures of Tigger, Piglet and Winnie the Pooh on it. On Saturday we had a busy day doing little jobs - I kept falling asleep in the car and waking up somewhere different! At night time we went to Auntie Rita's house. Gran and Papa and Liam were there too and it was lovely to see them.

On Sunday morning Mummy, Daddy and me went to church - I took my tambourine and got to play it once. At night we went to church again and Daddy was leading the service. I got to play my tambourine lots as all the songs were loud! He even got me up on the platform - I "high-fived" him, but I left all the talking to him.

I am a very lucky boy as I have some lovely cousins. These are some of them that I have photos of. Above is a photo of me sat with my cousin Liam. He lives nearest to me and is eleven years old. Liam likes football and supports Celtic. Below is a photo of my two girlie cousins. They live far, far away, so when they visit they sleep at my house. The biggest one is called Natasha and she is five years old. She loves dancing and she looks after me lots when she visits! The cheeky girl with her tongue is Rebekah and she is very funny. I went swimming with them last time they came to visit.

This is my Uncle David. I like him as I have more hair than he does. I think he'd make a really good bad guy in a film (although it would have to be pretend as I think he's a softy really) - and I could be his "mini-me"! Auntie Catriona and he came to visit with my cousin Liam and they brought cake (which has kinda been the theme for the week). It was lovely to see them. I was sad though as Dylan and Robbie couldn't come with them - but maybe we'll be able to play next time.
