Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Do you like my easter hat? There is so much to like about Easter, although I think it should be called eater instead as there is so many sweeties. I was a very lucky boy and was given lots of chocolate eggs! I also got a CD off Auntie Tor, Uncle Chris and Tasha and Bebe which has some great songs on it - I like listening to it in the car. Mummy and me made this hat. One of Daddy's friend's at work gave me the hat and Mummy and me made the chickens from an activity pack that she had for her birthday. On Easter Sunday Daddy and me went to church. Mummy went to be as she had been working all night. At church I think they sang a song about me and the fruit I take to eat during the service - they sang "He has raisins, he has raisins, he has raisins, Jesus is alive" - I think that's what it was anyway. I also had a banana, but they didn't sing about that. After church I went for a walk around the park with Daddy - I like to watch the doggies(Uff, uff's), especially when they chase after a ball. Later Uncle Gordon and Auntie Fi came round and we walked by the canal and Auntie Fi pushed me in my buggy. She did good for a learner driver.

Car troubles

It's still quite snowy and a little bit icy. On Tuesday I went to spend the day with Gran (N) as Mummy and Daddy were at work. When Daddy picked me up after work I went home, had some toast, then we went to visit Daddy's work as he needed to drop a letter off. I met Nan and Angela who Daddy works with and they were very nice. By the time we got home, Mummy had finished work and she brought with her some Chinese food - it was fantastic! Yesterday was funny. Mummy's car alarm started to go off when she started the car. It hasn't worked for years and Mummy has lost her special key to turn it off. It does go off after a minute, although I pretended to be asleep when we had to get in the car at 6.15am as it's a little embarrassing! Last night Uncle Gordon and Auntie Fiona came to watch the football. We had fun but the football was pants! Today it was Daddy's car's turn to break down. He had to get a man to come and fix it and it is at the garage. It was nice though as it meant Mummy came home from work early and we got to spend the day together. Tonight was bath night too - it's still my favourite!

Food on the Chin of the Week!

This week it's a day early - but it's Food on the Chin of the Week time! Can you guess what I've been eating? Yesterday evening Uncle Gordon and Auntie Fiona came to visit. I was in the bath when they arrived, so it was quite a surprise when I went downstairs and they were there - I'm glad I put my Jammies on upstairs! It was my 7 month old birthday so I celebrated by having some of every one's cake - I like the Madeira cake with jam and cream layers best. Today I went to Boobie Group and the woman next to me ate a banana without sharing any with me! So I just blew raspberries. Tomorrow is Parents and Toddler group and then Mummy and me and Daddy are having a play afternoon - I'm not sure what we have planned yet, although Daddy has mentioned sledging. There's a couple of problems with that. I don't have a sledge and we don't have snow. Answer to FOTCOTW: Mashed Potato

Not long to go!

ONE MORE DAY until Jesus's's's birthday! Do you like my impression of him? - although I haven't got a proper halo, mine's made out of a candy necklace and mine might be better because you can eat it. I'm quite excited too that Santa will soon be here. Yesterday, Uncle Gordon and lovely Auntie Fiona and Auntie Gillian came round and we watched a film called "A Christmas Story" and had popcorn. It's a funny film - especially when one boy licks a flagpole and gets his tongue stuck to it because it's so cold. Tonight I went into town with Daddy to look at the lights and then to pick Auntie Rita up from work - it was nice to see her. Ooooooooo! Two more sleeps to go!

Happy Hogswatch!

This is me last night getting ready to watch The Hogfather. I saved a seat on the sofa each side of me for Little Lisa and Mark, but they didn't come in the end so I was left looking like Billy-no-mates. Little Lisa put her car in a ditch - again. I'm going to lend her my booster seat so she can see over the steering wheel. The good news is that she is OK. Uncle Gordan and Auntie Gillian came and PCMacD came and had a sleep-over! We had pizza and popcorn and chocolate fingers but to be honest it all got to much for me and I conked out on the sofa then slept through 9.20 the next morning. Parties are fun but tiring!

Cuppa and Cake

On Sunday night I was a little sad as Grandpa and Gran had gone home. I cheered up a little when I found out we were having visitors. Uncle Gordon and Auntie Fiona came for a cuppa and cake and Auntie Gillian came too. Daddy and Uncle Gordon played chess and Daddy kicked his butt winning 3 games to nil. Go Daddy, go Daddy. We decided that we are having a HogFather party on Tuesday night - I'm so excited!

Creepy Colds!

Those colds kinda creep up on you don't they? I think I'm nearly over mine now, but I still have a little cough. Mummy and Daddy have my cold now instead, Daddy says it's snot funny! Now that I'm feeling better I should be able to keep you more up to date with my news. Here's a quick catch-up. On Sunday PC MacD came to visit with Matt. Daddy and Mummy haven't seen Matt for ages so it was really nice to spend some time together. Today we went Christmas Shopping, then tonight I went to see all the pretty Christmas lights in town. We met up with Uncle Gordon and Auntie Fi and it was lovely to see them. By the way, I've learnt something new - I now give kisses!

Day with Daddy

Yesterday Mummy went to work for a 'keeping in touch' day. I missed her. With Mummy being at work though, I got to spend the whole day with Daddy! A day with Daddy can be very tiring! I went back to bed after saying goodbye to Mummy whilst Daddy did some house-work. I then got up, had breakfast, watched Jeremy Kyle and went back to bed. Then Daddy woke me up as we were going to Starbucks to meet some of Daddy's friends. I love being carried round town as there is so much to see (and people seem to think I'm lovely - I'm not being big headed, it's just an observation). First we met Uncle Thomas for coffee and we were joined by Alistair. Then we met Uncle Gordon for coffee and were joined by Auntie Fiona. I had food at both Starbucks we went to! After that we came home, I watched a little Avatar whilst Daddy made dinner, then I had a bath! I managed to stay awake until Mummy came home but I was whacked!

New(ish) friends and Old friends

This week has been a week of catching up with friends - kinda planned at the last minute, but it's often nicer like that. On Monday Auntie Fiona and Uncle Gordon came to visit me at my house. Auntie Fiona fed me! Then the 'grown-ups' made gingerbread men designed to look like them. Daddy decorated a gingerbread (wo)man of Auntie Fiona in her beachwear. Auntie Fiona respected the footy team and decorated Daddy in a Derby top. Mummy and Uncle Gordon's artworks are shown below. It was really nice to spend some time with them - they are lovely people and good friends.

Tonight was great fun! One of Daddy's old friends came to visit as he is working in Glasgow this week. He's my Uncle Stanley and he lives in Cardiff. Uncle Stanley is very funny and he has a giggly laugh. He is very animated when he talks - and very fun to watch! He is married to my Auntie Rach and they have a little boy called Liam who was born a few months before me. Uncle Stanley may come and play again next week!

!!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!
I'm three months old today! Daddy keeps saying he's surprised that he hasn't had to flush me down the toilet yet - comparing me to when goldfish aren't looked after properly - I don't really understand to be honest, but he thinks he's funny. When I look at this picture of me when I was just three hours old I think it's amazing how much I've changed. I couldn't do anything then - but now I can do lots. I can do I great impression of "Super-baby" for a start!
Yesterday we went out for food with Uncle Gordon and Auntie Fiona - it was really nice to see them as I haven't seen them for a while. I think I'm seeing them again tonight when Mummy and I go to the harvest supper at church. My life is so busy!
