Singing, Trains and Puking!

Today was a great day as Daddy was not at work and it was a play day! This morning Daddy went out to get some new wheels for the car as the old ones were tired (tyred! Get it!?!) and then he went to the gym to lose his 'spare tyre', so Mummy, Lottie and me went to Sing and Rhyme Time at the Library. When we came home, Layne and Abigail from next door came round to play. This afternoon, whilst Mummy and Lottie went to breast-feeding group, Daddy and me went on a blue train into the big town. I'm glad to say that the blue train was bigger than the one in the photo above! I fell asleep in Daddy's arms when we were waiting in the bank and I missed our trip to Starbucks - no cake this time. I woke up in time to travel back on the train though. Then tonight, when we were at home, I was sick lots. I don't know why. I did feel better OK later and I'm going to bed early-ish.

My new animals - two by two!

I've had a couple of busy days which seems to be the norm at the moment. Yesterday we had to buy some new batteries for Mummy's car. My little cars that go on my dinosaur track that Gran (N) and Papa got me for Christmas take one AA battery to make them go and they are on their third ones. Mummy's car is much bigger so must take lots and lots of them but I'm not sure how many. I do know that we dropped Mummy's car off at the garage and it took an hour to change the batteries.

Today I had to go for a check-up at the dentist which went good and then when Daddy got home from work he took Mummy and me out for a coffee at Starbucks. I had my favourite raspberry and coconut cake. Auntie Rita gave me some pennies so I spent them on two elephants - a big one and a baby one.

Me and Daddy Day!

Today I had a day with my Daddy. Mummy was going to work so Daddy and me had a day to do whatever we wanted to. So we started the day by staying in bed! We didn't get up until nearly 10 o'clock. We then had a bit of a rush and quickly got dressed to go swimming. I like going swimming lots and lots. I like going under the big waterfall and I like going down the slides, although sometimes the water splashes right in my face. After swimming Daddy and me went to Starbucks for lunch. I had some toasted fruit bread, some of Daddy's coffee and a Coconut and Raspberry cake. We then did a little bit of shopping and then I went home for a sleep. When we woke up (I say we as I think Daddy had a sleep too) we did some housework so that Mummy would be happy with us and had dinner. Then we had to go shopping for some bread.

Daddy and me went to Tesco's and bought lots of stuff and a present for me - and octopus that you fix to the hose and it sprays water! I could have had a penguin or dinosaur but I liked the octopus even though it is pink. We got home and I got my surf suit on and we got very wet. The water was a bit cold though but a lot of fun. Daddy is naughty when he has a hose and squirts people - and I'm just like him! When it started to get too cold to play outside I went in and had a lovely warm bath. Most of my day with Daddy was wet thinking about it! Then it was time for my Mummy to come home and time for me to go to bed.

Mr Kipling Jr

I've had a busy couple of days since chillin' on Monday. On Tuesday me and Mummy had to wait in the house as the Gas man was coming to check the boiler and the cooker and the Sky man was coming to bring Daddy his new Sky+ box. They came and then I helped Mummy with some baking. We made a chocolate cake and some muffins! Making cakes is messy, but Mummy makes exceedingly good cakes. We then went for coffee at one of friends house from Mummy's and Toddlers. I went to Auntie Rita's on Tuesday night for dinner and it was lovely. I can't remember what I did on Wednesday - but I think I was busy. On Wednesday night, I went to the park with Daddy - it was very windy! I saw lots of Uffs (doggies) and one was chasing a ball. Today I went to see Gran and then Daddy and me went for a coffee in Starbucks. It's no wonder I'm sleeping well at nights - I'm shattered!

Catch Up: 3 - Mr Bump

I have a bit of a problem. I'm more mobile than I used to be, but not quite mobile enough. On Monday, Mummy and Daddy and me went to Starbucks after Daddy had finished work. Whilst Mummy was getting the drinks Daddy and me went to get a table. I was sat on the chair and I dropped my hat. I thought I could get it, but I'm not yet able to and nearly fell off the chair - it's a good job Daddy has been practising catching. He then thought it was best to keep hold of me, but I then accidentally head-butted a wooden rail - Ooooo I cried, just for a bit until my cake arrived and I persuaded Daddy to give me half of his toasted fruit bread. Then on Tuesday I was trying to walk in the bedroom with Mummy and fell and bumped my eye on my old cot - can you see the bruise on the picture. I didn't cry so much as I knew there wasn't any cake on offer! Daddy says bumps and bruises are part of life and not half as bad as skinning your knee - whatever that is!

Thursday and Friday

Ok, so here's my news. Despite a full scale search in what seemed like every shop at the Fort my Teddy is still missing. I met Gran (N) for a drink and chatted with Niki-the-Starbucks-lady. That was all I did yesterday. Today I went on our daily trip to get our free Lego and then came home and spent some time with Mummy and Daddy. Daddy decided to give me another bath because my one on Wednesday wasn't fun. I have to admit that I whimpered a little when we entered the bathroom so Daddy put me in the empty bath whilst I was still dressed! He then slowly filled the bath with water and before I knew it the water was up to my baby-boobs. I liked my bath tonight, I played with ducky, moosey and penguin but baths are not going back on my favourite list just yet!

Day with Daddy

Yesterday Mummy went to work for a 'keeping in touch' day. I missed her. With Mummy being at work though, I got to spend the whole day with Daddy! A day with Daddy can be very tiring! I went back to bed after saying goodbye to Mummy whilst Daddy did some house-work. I then got up, had breakfast, watched Jeremy Kyle and went back to bed. Then Daddy woke me up as we were going to Starbucks to meet some of Daddy's friends. I love being carried round town as there is so much to see (and people seem to think I'm lovely - I'm not being big headed, it's just an observation). First we met Uncle Thomas for coffee and we were joined by Alistair. Then we met Uncle Gordon for coffee and were joined by Auntie Fiona. I had food at both Starbucks we went to! After that we came home, I watched a little Avatar whilst Daddy made dinner, then I had a bath! I managed to stay awake until Mummy came home but I was whacked!

I've had a chillin' day today. Daddy was working so Mummy and I went to Starbucks to meet Mummy's friend called Laura from her work. They just chatted and I tried to make friends with the ladies on the next table. After my usual cuddles, food and nappy change I came home. I had a tea-time nap lying on my Daddy chest and then I watched "Last of the Summer Wine" and find Compo really funny.
