Amazonia

Yesterday was a fun play day. Mummy and Daddy and me and Lottie went to Amazonia. Amazonia is a really hot place where you can walk around and see lots of animals. I saw a snake that ate a mouse and I saw a big lizard like the one I touched before. I also fed some fish.

There were lots of lovely butterflies flying around and one landed on my head! Butterflies have a long, long tongue so that they can like the flowers. There were also some that had wings that looked like they had an eye on them. I saw some bats and some monkeys and some ants that were walking across a rope. There were also some lovely birds.

We also went for a handling session with some of the animals. I held a snake called a Royal Python or a Ball Python as it likes to curl up into a ball. It was very smooth. I also held a Gecko Lizard and Daddy and Mummy held a tarantula! I didn't hold the big spider though as I didn't want to wear the goggles that protect your eyes if the spider flicks his hairs at you.
Today was not so good. I had to go back to playgroup school and I didn't want to go and Daddy had to go to work and I didn't want him to go there. Today was not a fun day.
